Make-up maketh the tranny!

To transform yourself into a convincing transvestite you need to change you face! So make-up and cosmetics are a vital part of your wardrobe along with skin care products and hair removal accessories. But just don't expect to be an expert over night, it takes practice and time to get things right, even for normal girls!

Unfortunately a lot of trannies can resemble something from a circus rather than a gorgeous girlie when they start out but practice can make perfect and everyone has their own style and techniques. It is best to start off simple and get things like the correct foundation and covering cosmetics right first so that you have a good base to build on. Good make-up takes time, you can't rush it and you certainly can't get away with a quick swipe of blue eye shadow over caked on foundation or you'll look like something from the 70's!

Of course whether you decide to be smooth and hair-free all over is something you can decide on for yourself but any tranny must be fuzz free on the face so the first thing you have to be is good at a close shave unless you are opting for more permanent hair removal techniques such as laser or IPL treatments. Also you have to bear in mind that a fresh shaven face is great but a five o'clock shadow will make the same make-up look very different if you have it on that long so investing in a good foundation is very important.

Once you have the basics off to a tee, you can then experiment with the rest of the make-up box but just remember that it is better to start subtle and then build up to more elaborate styles and flamboyant colours once you have the techniques of applying the make-up correctly otherwise you'll look like a bad drag queen. Obviously just like with other women you make-up should really reflect the time of day and occasion with evening wear perhaps being enhanced with false eye lashes and heavier make-up.
