Stockings, tights or hold ups?

Which you prefer to wear is as personal a choice as anything else and there are many debates on which are better, sexier or most practical. The bottom line is there is no right or wrong answer just whatever you feel most comfortable in and like for most women it will depend on the outfit, occasion and even potentially what the weather is doing!

Stockings and suspenders do seem to be considered inherently sexy by most men but that could be more stereotypical cliche rather than anything concrete today. Obviously with stockings you have to wear a suspender belt to keep them up which many girls find uncomfortable and can create a few lumps and bumps if you are wearing a tight skirt or dress over the top, but the alternative to that can be hold ups.

Of course there are also tights that are designed to look like stockings and even tights with cut outs so you get the benefits of both, or combine your shape wear with suspenders and stockings!

Tights (or pantyhose as our American cousins call them) and stockings come in different thicknesses and the denier numbers indicate how thick or opaque they are, with the lower the number meaning the nylons are thinner and finer. Which denier you choose may well depend on whether you shave your legs or not, as you really do have to have silky smooth legs if you are going for a sheer stocking and hold ups rely on hair free skin to 'stick' to.

Most stores will do XL sizes in their hosiery, but check what that XL size means as some will just mean that the legs are wider to accommodate bigger thighs and calves rather than being for the taller lady but they can easily be found.

With so many colours, patterns, materials you can ensure that showing off your sexy legs is easy whatever type of tranny hosiery you choose to wear be it fun fishnets, old school seamed stockings with vintage suspenders or tantalisingly funky fashion tights...
