"Who do I fancy being today?" is often a question associated with choosing your wig/hairstyle in the morning as different wigs or indeed hairstyles can make you feel like a completely different person even if your clothes and everything else remains the same!
There has been a surge in decent wigs, hair extensions and accessories available online recently with normal women wanting to easily change their hair as often as they change their outfits so it is easy and affordable to get a good wig or two to complete your female transformations. Whether you opt for synthetic or real human hair the choice can be quite staggering now so you really could have a different style or colour for every day of the week without having to try and grow your own.
If you are just starting out as a tranny, then going for a cheaper synthetic wig will allow you to get used to wearing it and decide on what style/colour suits you best before you commit to a more expensive purchase.
It can be tempting for a tranny newbie to go for a very long wig and very often frizzy/curly as that it what they see as being very feminine, but then find that a) they just get incredibly hot under all that hair and b) they can't control the hair and it just ends up looking a complete mess! That might be fine for some crossdressers who just do it for fun now & then but for the serious transvestite you want something more realistic.
It may be worth while using one of the online virtual hairstyling booths to upload a photo of yourself to then experiment with styles and colours to see what you think suits you and then choose a wig based on that to start with. Another good tip is to think of women that you see on TV that you like their style and opt for a colour and style that is similar, that way you will create a more natural feminine look rather than a stereotypical tranny one.
Of course you can go for the cheap wigs that are sold in fancy dress shops and whilst they can be good to get used to them it is more often the case that the photo you see of the model wearing the wig doesn't really show what the product is like in reality and they tend to be rather wiry and if you even try to brush them they fall apart. A good idea for one wearing at a party maybe but not recommended for serious tranny wear!
